Bandwagon can justify that omission somehow.

But reading the story it's pretty accurate IMO; UD has work to do.

This just in...we don't have a coach...our recruits, which sources say is a fantastic class despite the rumors that KC couldn't recruit, if they have any sense at all, will not sign until they have met the new coach.

Our fans are leaving in droves, and the ones who have stayed are more likely to yell at you to sit down instead of joining with you to cheer the Hens on.

We return a QB that many on here do not think can win.

The rest of our coaching staff will most likely receive their pink slips as soon as it is convenient for the new coach...so the players will have to learn new techniques on the fly this spring/summer.

We do not, according to some, have the Jimmies and Joes to compete in the CAA.

So yeah, I can see why you are insulted by people who do not think we will make the playoffs.

BTW, do you read the posts from people on this board or do you have everyone on ignore?

yes work to do but I feel a good competitive nucleus with returners. Just seems odd actually makes me sad that a conversation about FCS title contenders leaves Delaware out of the discussion.

While I may not be all wise and all knowing about all topics on UD football as you seem to feel you are; I am a fan, a good standing member of gohens.net and a longtime season ticket holder. As such, I am entitled to add my two cents if and when I feel the need to. Isnt that what this site is for;to share information and have mature discussions about our shared passion for Blue Hen football? My post/topic was merely a reflection of my anguish related to the state of UD football at this time and how far we have fallen out of the perennial contenders discussion. If the topic has been discussed previously pardon me. I work for a living and when I come home I am tired and I dont get to Gohens.net as much as I would like to. Thousands of posts are on here and people like you have kept me from being as diligent as I used to be about reading all the posts. I have read plenty of your posts and it seem to me that all you like to do is be argumentative and condescending to get your little power trip fulfilled. If you feel you need to be contemptuous to make your self feel important and special on your egotistical high horse, well, ouch you showed me. I dont know you; you dont know me and I dont really give a rat's pa-tuey what a dolt like you thinks about me or my post. The only reason I bothered to reply is I dont like a passive aggressive "Richard Skull" like you thinking they can hide behind the anonymity of a webpage and feel that they can bully others without some type of retort. If we start winning again most of these problems will correct themselves. It's encouraging to see that the AD had at least addressed the fan issue which leads me to believe that the Adminstration has has, at the very least had some dialog on the subject. I don't know if that will parlay into anything but it's a start.

Aside from that who cares what magazines say. Win the CAA you get in the playoffs and that's all that matters. I don't see the talent level of this team, especially at the QB position, as being good enough to be considered in the top 20, but hopefully whoever comes in can develop the talent we have and turn things around.
