#BlueHens Eric Ziady said no announcement today on football coach. Asked to confirm Dave Brock is the guy said 'I can't confirm anything.'

Driving to Newark isn't a issue and Brock doesn't have enough juice to play hard ball in negotiating a contract. This hires not done and IMO its not Brock.

I hope you are right.

But then I hope it is NOT Garrett. I still hope for Venuto!

My info is all coaches received a severance and are gone.[/quote]

My info and the a Ziady quote said that all assistant coaches are retained at least until Feb 6. The new HC will make a decision on his assistant coaches.

It would be crazy to have all the coaches getting a "severance and be gone" when there are 15 kids that are looking for some kind of reassurance and looking to talk to a coach of some sort. But then again I would have said it was crazy to let the HC go in the middle of the recruiting process. Hey, we may have the same situation when KC was hired in that there will be MULTIPLE (was six) scholarships available to pick up transfers. Wow the new coach may have up of 15 additional transfers. Of course this years recruiting class will not exist. That will have very long term issues with having some kind of continuity.

Agree wholeheartedly. Doesn't make any sense since most of the kids were actually recuited by the AC's. Coach Perry has done a nice job down here.

Word circulating some of the players know who new HC is. I assume the meeting with the Players Leadership Council EZ spoke of has taken place.

Can you guys please learn how to quote correctly!
I makes the board really hard to read when we think we are reading new material only to find out someone deleted the [quote] tags.
Be careful of the words you say,
