Brock's name came up literally minutes after KC's departure as a mortal lock. If indeed Brock's the guy then how serious was the national search? Let's hope he brings Cohen in as his DC. Maybe we'll have bright gold helmets now. Go Blue Eagles !

If it is Brock, then there was not truly a national search and EZ wanted to start his own good old boy network. He basically says FU to the fans of the program and fills the position with his buddy. It then leads me to believe that KC was let go merely because EZ wanted his buddy to keep him company on South College. More than likely then he spent the last 2 months trying to get the OK to fire Keeler so he could give his buddy the job. I hope it ain't so and we are surprised by the hire, but I am not optimistic.

Brock - EZ go from being at the same place for 3 years, to best buddies? What's next BroMance rumors? How much contact does Samantha Huge have with Coach Perry; not much yet Brock - EZ held similar positions at BC. To now make Brock - EZ buddies has no foundation in my eyes.

But it doesn't matter. The real hire will be announced soon enough.

If there was a presser today, don't you think the press would already know about it and report that there is a presser at blah, blah, blah time? Neither the NJ nor the Delaware State News has posted anything regarding this.

Philly press has never cared about UD football. That would really only affect two guys...KT and Jon Buzby. Would that be excuse enough to delay the announcement?
