J,
It depends which "Fire KC" thread you look at. And the fact that there is more than one lends a little more credibility to my claim.
Check out this one after we lost to Maine. Lots of posters seemed to be in favor of axing the coach then,.

Maybe 75% is a bit high and I think it strongly depends on the context and the timing of the question when it is asked.
The true answer is probably somewhere in between our estimates.
Be careful of the words you say,

The guy calling for Venuto in that thread (way before it was cool to do so) is a g*damned genius.

I have just recently heard a rumor(within the last hr.)

Could KC have been looking into a postion don't know if it was for a HC or other coaching position at a D1 school?? And didn't bother to let officals at UD know about this??

Just something a little birdie told me.

As one perceived as an anti Keelerite by a few numbnuts, I never wanted the coach fired. I wanted him to start winning consistently and let the public know what we should really expect. The "I'm here to win Championships" kind of faded with the "attack them when they get off the bus" slogan. KC's personal goals that he mentioned were to make the playoffs at least 50% of the time and win the NC every 5 years. If he was being honest then those went by the wayside also. So, I wouldn't subscribe to alot of us wanting him fired just yet we just wanted him to improve very quckly or get wacked down the road. Having said that I am relieved to end the ongoing dilemma of having to justify every criticism of his actions and results.

Plus you don't need to post about how much people leave for tips anymore. We're all grateful for that.

Or that they stay in Presidential Suites. And no more Day One stuff that we mistakenly took for anti talk. Silly us. And if it was a "dilemma", I hope we never have to endure hearing about something you feel strongly about.

I was disappointed there was no announcement today, after KT's tease yesterday afternoon. They need to get this done!

sally I thought it would be done before it started, but maybe not. maybe they have to find an independent donor to fund the salary of the new coach and they are in the process of raising the funds to do so.

I believe today was the official cut-off for applications. I would be surprised if there isn't an announcement by Friday.

I saw an article today (forget where, so can't find the link) that says schools spend 6 times as much on athletes as they do on the general population. Didn't have the chance to pour through their numbers and try to find fault...but I know such an article exists. 6 times!

Anyone else hear there will be a UD press conference tomorrow? Also there are rumors ALL coaches received a severance package and are gone.
