I don't think Zwaan is going to have much of a shot considering what else is available.

Zero chance - he's been pretty mediocre at West Chester.

Rutgers OC Dave Brock kind enough to return my inquiries today but said he couldn't discuss #BlueHens vacancy. #strongcandidate #CAAFB

Learned #BlueHens may consider Duke DC Jim Knowles as #CAAFB coach. Ex-Cornell coach is Rich Gannon pal. Makes sense. http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml? ... 204862741&

@kevintresolini Duke lost last 5 games and gave up 246 points in those 5 games. #notsurewewanthim #CAAFB #BlueHens

Knowles was 26-34 at Cornell. Neither him or Brock excite me at all.

given his response to Kevin T, my belief continues to be that Brock is the leading candidate. while the offensive product at Rutgers this year was less than stellar, he did not have final say over the QB. My recollection is that he did well for some years with the kid at K State when he was there.

My preferences among the names out there: Cohen and Venuto. Here's a name I brought up months ago that appeared again not too long ago- Curt Cignetti of IUP. Look at his background and his performance at IUP. Turned them around pronto. Would be a step up and a step up in $. Cohen has a turn around on his record at Hofstra. I want the best candidate for the job, not somebody's buddy. Hopefully the AD realize that with this decision, he puts his a** on the line. We don't need a retread from BC. Yeah, it would be nice to have a Blue Hen or someone with Blue Hen connections, but I want the best person for the job. Time to right the ship.

We wont get him but Cubit ( actually has been successful as a HC and at BCS OC) is heads above everyone noted. Problem signed a deal as OC for Illinois for about a half a million

I am not on the Search committee but I also like Cohen & Venuto as well. I wasn't impressed with the Duke coach from the BIO.

Of the candidates that have been mentioned thus far I really like Dave Cohen. Unless someone surfaces that we do not know about yet.

People remember Cohen's 2004 defense at William and Mary, right? Just saying...besides, no one's said anything negative about the guy yet and, well, this is GoHens. NEGATIVITY IS WHAT WE DO!

The thing I remember about that W&M playoff game in 2004 is little KC not running the ball when we had that big lead in the third quarter. I can still envision that pick 6 to start the fourth quarter.

Why do people judge a coach 's body of work based on a single game?

His years as DC at WM were dismal. One of the worse defenses I've ever seen. Numbers proved it.

Henny 30, you forgot to mention that Cubit would be the greatest hire on earth.
