If you believe there was a plan and a short list going into Monday, and I do then you have to assume Cohen is not on it. Would a candidate be talking that freely with KT while he was pursuing the job with EZ? I don't see it.

Cohen is not the hire Sometimes ex HC who have no other HC options existing will desperately seek an opportunity that they believe to be at least accessible In addition his credentials as to other potential candidates never added up. Don't believe Brock did either though

We probably could've done better but chose to go an ez route Knowles is actually the best of the 3. The other 2 are extremely lame

Buzby's tweet says it too but Duke's defense isn't a great resume. In three years as DC there in conference games they went south in points allowed, 270 to 245 to 313 this past year when they made a bowl game & then got ripped by Cincinnati. I saw that game on TV - Duke's D looked bad.
