Cohen is not the hire Sometimes ex HC who have no other HC options existing will desperately seek an opportunity that they believe to be at least accessible In addition his credentials as to other potential candidates never added up. Don't believe Brock did either though

It seems that something negative has been posted about every possible coach suggested so far. Is anyone aware of any slam dunk (like Mike Brey was) potential FB HC candidates that UD would have at least a chance of landing?

Who ever it is, I guess will have to pass the review of the donor who helped buy out KC's contract.

Don't worry joe...you're not one of the people who needs handrails. :D
UD football...playoff bound in 2013...with KC's recruits.

Some folks need handrails for humor.

KT tweets

kevintresolini ‏@kevintresolini
Rutgers OC Dave Brock kind enough to return my inquiries today but said he couldn't discuss #BlueHens vacancy. #strongcandidate #CAAFB

kevintresolini ‏@kevintresolini
Learned #BlueHens may consider Duke DC Jim Knowles as #CAAFB coach. Ex-Cornell coach is Rich Gannon pal. Makes sense. http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml? ... 204862741&

and a Busby reply
Jon Buzby ‏@JonBuzby
@kevintresolini Duke lost last 5 games and gave up 246 points in those 5 games. #notsurewewanthim #CAAFB #BlueHens

I'd like ti think UD could do better than the names mentioned so far.

If you put a gun to my head & I had to pick between Brock, Cohen & Knowles, I guess I'd go with Cohen begrudgingly.

We probably could've done better but chose to go an ez route Knowles is actually the best of the 3. The other 2 are extremely lame

Buzby's tweet says it too but Duke's defense isn't a great resume. In three years as DC there in conference games they went south in points allowed, 270 to 245 to 313 this past year when they made a bowl game & then got ripped by Cincinnati. I saw that game on TV - Duke's D looked bad.
