Re: UMass to the MAC

We finally got a "seat at the table". The already announced OOC games are fantastic. CUSA will change, just as the CAA has changed. The CAA changes have all been POOR. I certainly would prefer that WKU and MTSU remain, as plans are already being considered for Nashville as the add-on attra...

Well, that was embarrassing. A flawed team.

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN

Keep posting, Topstraight. I could not be more pleased for the opportunity that has opened for us. Looking forward to the new competition and the new destinations. (BTW, Buies Creek was NEVER going to happen for this fan) As an aside, Huntsville, AL for the basketball tournament looks like a fun pl...

Not nice to say, I know, but some of these turnovers, bad passes, etc. border on the comedic.

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN

I would put money on the former player being on the '98 team that Nagy and Conti eviscerated. It was glorious to watch! Sally in RI I am sure you are right about that, Sally. It also sounded like he was not wanted as a recruit by Tubby & CO. As the saying goes, we have been "living rent fr...

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN

Back to UConn here. This is a pretty amusing commentary from their standpoint, about scheduling UD. Not sure who their former player is, but he hates us! LOL listen from the 35:44 mark. https://open.spotify.com/episode/25ppZuUun8z4kXN2ZIOuOI?si=fDkTpRBJQZm499AA14q17g&nd=1&dlsi=4ebeb900e88542...

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN

CR brings in OOC opponents and to my memory in the OOC schedules she has approved, exactly ZERO have been from NC. The conference she inherited and has managed to get of out of sets that portion of our schedule. Facts are such an impediment to the hate some of you keep spewing. Think they meant non...

Re: Stadium Expansion & New Football Facility

We did not realize how poor the seating was in Delaware Stadium until the west stands were redone. Chairbacks, cup holders, wider aisles, padded seats in the Club section, etc. Even the bench seating on the end sections is roomier and better than before. It will continue to be difficult to sell seas...

Monmouth Hawks

Big game on Saturday. We are both 5-4 in conference.

Monmouth has already beaten: Towson, Hofstra and Drexel. The coach's son, Xander Rice, is a killer.

Should be fun, I hope.

That was an impressive performance. Maybe one that turns the season around. True freshman, Cherisier, plays and talks like a team leader.

My faith was restored a bit today.

Re: I’m awake - UD to CUSA

Did CR or DA vote for NC A&T to enter the CAA? I don't know, but it doesn't matter now. Hampton was the biggest failed addition, by far. Blame it all on Joey. I should have stuck to my original script that day at the BHTC... 😂 You were being kind, but you know I had the same thoughts. It didn't...
