Re: CAA Tournament, Second Round: Hampton

63-18, not sure if I’ve ever seen a blowout like this with two D1 teams.

Re: Women's Ice Hockey

It might not take too long for this program to be successful. There are plenty of great players in the area and very few schools for UD to compete with in the region . The partnership with the Flyers and upgrades to Rust Arena will help get Women’s Hockey off to a great start.

Re: UMass to the MAC

The MAC is the Hotel California of college football conferences and maybe for several reasons wasn’t a good fit for UD. UD sees its peers as the FBS schools in the east, so it’s CUSA for now and stay tuned!

Re: Penn 2/24

Penn had several stops in the fourth that was the key to the win. Also face offs kills the Hens. Ugh!

Re: Home and Home Set with UCONN

It's never too early to start paying attention to what's going on with the schools in the AAC and Sun Belt. Particularly the eastern ones.

Re: UD Financial Issues

Ya, it doesn’t sound like a good time to get a match on the NEZ project like the university did with the WAC. I think it was $25 Million.

Re: Joe Flacco - NFL Comeback Player of the Year

If Joe could be persuaded to kick in a big check to the stadium, why not name it Joe Flacco Stadium and score 2 birds with one stone? For instance announcements like" UD opens it's season in Joe Flacco stadium against NAME opponent like JMU" or........ sounds good to me! Have Joe appear b...

Re: Memory - UD vs JMU

When I called down there for my Seven tickets, I gave them my name and it was the same last name as the JMU QB. Tickets were tough so when the Ticket guy asked if I was related to the QB I said "yes, I'm his Uncle John!!". We got 7 great seats on the 40 but we were in the JMU section. Wel...

These promos must be a big hit. We were at the Towson game and there were a lot of kids there as well! Not a bad strategy to develop the future fan base.

Congrats to Info and the Banquet Committee on a great event! I happened to speak with our AD before the event and her enthusiasm for UD Athletics is off the charts! We're very lucky to have her.

Yep, it doesn't hurt to learn from as many people as you can. It looks like he's done just that!

Re: Stadium Expansion & New Football Facility

So how many seats does Delaware Stadium need moving into the FBS era? I would like to see a Pavilion like NEZ that would give new fans and students a good reason not to take the easy way out of attending games. Maybe 6 floors high and right on top of the action, make it intimate with capacity at ab...
