Re: Delaware to Conference USA?
CUSA is a FCS conference masquerading as a FBS. It’s days are short and it’s ending (and next media deal) is ugly. You heard it here first. If the signs are right, it sure seems like the team dressed up in the Michigan costumes may be joining an FBS masquerade party somewhere in the not too distant...

Me, too. I much prefer the MAC when compared to the other options being mentioned here.dchen wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 7:38 pmMe too.Info Hound wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 11:34 pm Whatever our destination, and I hope it is not staying where we are, we need to keep winning on Saturdays.
To the MAC, with our old friends at UMass, would be fine with me.

Re: Delaware to Conference USA?
Think a potential Sam Houston visit to Delaware Stadium would be a hit at the box office? Maybe not. The last time UD raised ticket prices (as "moving up" will certainly bring), 20% of the season ticket holders walked away. Perhaps it's a good thing that attendance at games will have almo...

Re: Sun Belt East
Personally I prefer the MAC simply because I believe we'd be competitive more quickly, if not right away, and for the travel distance, especially the non revenue sports. Conference USA is so spread out across the country and really how is UD going to be able to make any real rivalries in that confe...

Re: FCS to FBS guidelines
Thanks, is there a way to private message here. Yes, there's a "Private messages" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen, next to "Notifications". Thanks and noticed it when seeing this notification. Will wait for awhile. The waiting is painful but no one is rushing...

Re: Interesting article about PSU scheduling FCS
According to Joe D’Antonio , the commissioner of the CAA, the payouts for CAA teams from FBS teams run between $250,000-$400,000. If you are a G5 team, you will be paid more than that by the Big Boys. Another reason to move up. Ohio State just inked a deal with UNH that will pay the ‘Cats a cool $1...

Turn the page guys! It's not about the 3 man front, greatest wr's of all time or Carty's heritage. We were totally out talented and it's that simple. Let's get back on track for the Red Flash and a reality adjustment for many . Still lots of season left ! Agree. Have not seen an injury report yet, ...

Re: Game Thread: Penn State
I agree with most of the posters on here saying how does scheduling a game like this help us in any way ?? Recruiting…. No. Does this kind of humiliation make us more attractive to an FBS conference like the MAC or the SunBelt to say wow we better get an invite to these guys before someone else bea...

Re: Game Thread: Penn State
Let's see Penn State rated #7 FBS team in the country. Number 7 power rakning in FBS. Two players projected to be first round draft choices. A 5 star rated QB. Tres reported we are getting $400,000 to play Penn State. Maybe this humiliation would be worth it if was for 1 Mil. I believe Franklin wan...

Getting a transfer QB is easier now than ever…if you pay. We have a 2 Billion Endowment that was discussed on another thread get a QB…that’s what every school who cares about football (big and small…if you think Mount Union ain’t giving grants to athletes you’re nuts) does when they can’t recruit e...

Re: Will Delaware join UMass to the MAC
The AAC is down by one member but in the hunt for the PAC2, but so is the MWC. After your next home game, it will be interesting if any of you all speak with some heavy hitter donors and see if the Administration is considering FBS or not. Delaware has the second highest vote count. That said they ...
