Re: Why Is JMU in a different league?

That's always been the insinuation. If not for us, he'd likely never would've been a head coach - long track record of being an assistant in multiple places. Likely to be made available after this season if they clean house in Atlanta. Amazing that the guy ended up on an NFL staff. another buddy hi...

Tubby at 25 Keeler at 149 https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/CFB150coaches/the-150-greatest-coaches-college-football-150-year-history Zoner is probably going to keel over from a brain hemorrhage. No one will listen to him when he assures us that Keeler is not a good coach who is res...

Re: Rocco -- an OUTSIDER'S perspective

Hey guys, while that sounds clever, it’s just not true. Players develop differently. It is absolutely ok to question talent assessment even with a coach with a good record such as Rocco. JW was his starter, was he the best qb on the roster? No. That’s two coaches who missed it. Actually, Brock may ...

Re: Rocco -- an OUTSIDER'S perspective

Don't mess with Bluehenbill. He came here to do two things tonight: quote Iverson and kick some a$$. And it looks like he's all out of Iverson quotes! I loved that quote when Rowdy Roddy Piper used it in "They Live". Still an awesomely bad but good movie. I prefer Clint in Dazed and Confused.

They were Dave Brock's debut opponent in Newark in 2013.
And they beat us. Cade Bell was their coach and his son was their QB. I believe while he was at the helm their program was doing well.
kerwin bell was their coach....kade bell was their qb

Re: What happens to Rocco?

Since it's obvious Rocco will be back for 2020, when is the conversation going to shift on just how he is planning on getting the Hens into the playoffs next year... long off season but he needs to get really busy if that is going to happen.... The conversation should shift now. If he was getting c...

Re: Rocco -- an OUTSIDER'S perspective

I look at UD football like this...We are way down from where we once were. Brock took the program to all time lows from a decade of all time highs (with some down years sprinkled in)....It is understandable that there would not necessarily be a meteoric rise in talent and results from where Brock, Z...

Re: Rocco -- an OUTSIDER'S perspective

Brian- You could bring the entire staff from ESPN , Sports Illustrated & Hero to support Dan Rocco and our rather odd and nasty group would still disconnect from the reality of the UD program. I have to chuckle over the weekend while strong programs like Michigan & many others were getting bashed a...

Re: does it really matter???

NO NEWS IS BAD NEWS. disappointing- that's my take at present. I can only hope CR may need this long weekend to arrive at getting a new HC signed or waiting for a coach to have his season end and be able to put his John Hancock on a contract. we can only hope that reality leads to dramatic change. ...

Don't forget Special Teams; Probably a D to C-. Punter and Townsend are brighter spots keeping from being a full D grade.

I guess TE's get some benefit of doubt(?).
Pritchard was the second best player on the team behind Will Knight.....

Re: FCS Head Coach Changes 2019

Hopefully get to add Rocco to this list in the next couple of days. Changes so far: Eastern Kentucky - Mark Elder (dude actually went 7-4 and 7-5 over last two years, those are records that Rocco aims for. EKU, like UD, a former FCS great looking to eventually get back to winning football games in ...

listening to the presser, he says we have to have winning seasons, be in the post season, and stack successful years....all true, but why is the phrase compete for championships so hard to say?

Re: CAA will be a 2-bid League

No UD , no Sammy again. A sad weekend for Blue Hen fans. Here we are, in the midst of the worst decade in Blue Hen history, with our second straight coach who has no ability whatsoever to win in this program, let alone lead this program deep into the playoffs or even threaten for the national title...

Re: “The focus hasn’t been on winning...”

I hope he didn't say that almost seems like he is daring them to fire him what a fuckin loser mentality Just what some posters have been saying the last few weeks-Rocco is trying to get fired. The team has looked completely unprepared in a number of games, and that comes down to coaching. The game-...
