Re: Live Construction Footage

You might be correct, however, they specifically mentioned they were for heating. There are some big A/c units between those two metal units. LIkely the set up is like a home. The AC compressor is outside the home and the air handler/furnace is separate from the compressor inside the home. In this ...

Any new scoreboard would have been 100% dependent on corporate funding.
I was told directly by Jerry O after the Penn game last year that the video board was being replaced for this season with a new board centered over the NEZ bleachers.

Surprised to see what appears to be solid glass panels. Most press levels have an ability to open the windows....
Those are clearly 2-piece panels - top and bottom. My guess is one or the other can be opened.
we will agree to disagree. I see no partition top to bottom....

Re: Delaware Football changed forever?

that eliminates playing up/money games....so you lose that experience, but would there really be a potential TV market to infuse cash into the FCS level in the spring...It is an interesting thought......but it will never happen.

Re: Might this be the time?

With all the unanswered questions due to the Covid "new norm", might this be the right time to calmly seek to create a new conference for UD- one that would be geographically and academically compatible and have suitable quality competition to reestablish fan support/revenue. Behind the scenes nego...

Re: Live Construction Footage

I didn't know about that but I was more interested in the quick step that the band used for a while. More recently the band runs onto the field. There was a brief period when they used the quick step when entering the field. That was pretty cool. and they look like a disorganized mess doing it........

Looks great. Looks like plenty of space to continue the band marching under the stadium playing the fight song. Look forward to hearing that again this fall or sometime soon.
maybe, but it also may be extremely loud with all the new concrete and low ceiling.

Re: Live Construction Footage

Looks good. I didn't realize that the lights would look quite like that, the artist's rendering was a little off in that regard, not in a bad way, just a little misleading. With the light poles the way they are you'd wonder if they would put a bunch of flag poles up there now and fly the six nation...

Maybe the volume and loud music but I have been to plenty of places where the PA announcer doesn't sound like a Vince McMahon employee.
C'mon man! don't disrespect WWE announcers like that!

He was one of the best PA announcers anywhere.
and then they saddled us with the current train wreck announcer. How do you go from an icon to a joke overnight?
