Re: 2020-2021 Season
As I have mentioned earlier, UD fans might be pleasantly surprised by the talent and depth on this roster, in spite of the loss of Mutts and Darling and the hiatus in recruiting. Hard to predict how things will develop, given the pandemic and the likely interruptions in the schedule, but the upward ...

Re: ANTHONY OCHEFU
According to sources: The basketball oversight committee expected to recommend that the NCAA allow ALL transfers to get waiver to play this season. This would be proposed to the D-1 Council — which next meets on Dec. 16. There is a chance it could be voted on prior to the 16th.

Re: Flacco starting this week
Actually, the Steelers-Ravens series is more dependent on who plays QB for Pittsburgh. Since Big Ben entered the NFL, the Steelers record is 16-10 against Baltimore when Ben plays and 1-9 when he is out,.

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'
Tresolini's tweet confirms that Anderson, Allen and Painter will all have eligibility for both 2020-21 and 2021-22. That is huge for the UD program.

Today the vote was to give winter athletes another year of eligibility. Becomes official once the meeting ends tomorrow (and assuming it is not brought up for a vote again before then).

Re: Mens Basketball recruiting 21'
The NCAA has already granted another season of eligibility for 2020 spring and fall semester athletes. Voting today on whether to extend that to winter 2021 athletes. There are lots of recruitment implications either way (i.e., could Painter get another year?). Stay tuned.

[quote="jd of de" post_id=378297 time=1601030880 user_id=26607] To add perspective, a 35% reduction in the athletic department budget represents $15m - $18m in cuts. In other words, cutting the football program (for the morons, that’s not my suggestion) only gets you 40%-50% of the way there. Droppi...
