Re: Richmond to the patriot league in 2025
The Patriot League better be careful about taking on schools that agreed with changing their conference name from the Colonial AA to the Clown, oops Coastal, AA. This message approved by the PoD.

Please try to “filter” your comments in the future. Besides, folks are drawing (or pulling) on other stuff rather than camels these days.topstraight wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 5:09 pm You mean campbell "Camels" aren't a good "draw"?

Re: 2024 Post Mortem
Well, at least the CAA is featured prominently in the NCAA LAX quarterfinals. Hofstra and Towson hosting the Saturday and Sunday games, respectively.

Re: Richmond to the patriot league in 2025
Why couldn’t Nova, W&M, Towson. Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Albany and Stony Brook break away and start their own northeast football conference? It’s a shame what the CAA has become. But as others have already said, so happy that UD finally abandoned that sinking ship. That’s a shame. I...

Re: Richmond to the patriot league in 2025
Who ever was doing the planning and leading for the Colonial AA did a terrible job.

Re: 2024 Post Mortem
Home teams all won...a rarity. Sunday's games were mostly good until halftime. Saturday's games were mostly snooze fests. Towson performed admirably until the 3rd quarter...then the wheels came off. Their goalie, strangely, was caught out of position several times. :?: Don't know what the future ho...

Re: CUSA - October Schedule
I'm good with Ralph's helmet as an alt, I'd just do royal blue wings. With all whites and instead of "Delaware", put the Hen (in my avatar). The all white with a white helmet with blue wings would look great. The players like black. Give them that with a yellow helmet and black wings. (Yu...

Re: CUSA - October Schedule
To quote the great Thomas Sowell, "there are no solutions, only tradeoffs." In order to join FBS, this is the trade-off. There was no perfect solution available. I don't like the mid-week games....at all...but it really is a small slate of games that directly impact Delaware and, on avera...

Re: 2024 Post Mortem
I had a feeling that the Hens would find a transfer to fill JP Ward spot. The Hens have signed Yale grad transfer Cory Capri as the new QB on attack. Capri played at John Glenn HS on Long Island before PGing at the Hill School where he had 21 points in just 5 games. He spent three years at Yale and...

Re: 2024 Post Mortem
The defense which was so organized in the first half of the season became unraveled. Clearly due to injuries. Gonna check the rosters of the Big schools for Canadians, the Big is really big in the LAX scene now.

Re: CAA Championship Game: Towson
Towson draws Syracuse who is #4 seed in the tournament. Champion Princeton is the ONLY Ivy team playing. Maryland, Penn State, Hopkins and Michigan all from the Big. Albany vs Sacred Heart for the PIG and the chance to match up against ND - good luck with that.

Re: CAA Championship Game: Towson
Ugh! Some kind of dreary day. Towson took the Hens to school, but good. It will be interesting to see if TU can do anything in the NCAAs, probably won’t have to go through a a play in game. Better luck next year for the Hens, gotta find replacements for big contributors and put some pieces together ...
