Re: Live Construction Footage

You should tell us what you think they are. Surprised you didn’t recommend opening the dorms 100 percent and bringing all the students back to Newark and start playing football with large crowds. I mean this is just the flu and is starting to wane. But oh yeah, reality does suck. We aren’t rounding...

Re: Live Construction Footage

UD could experience some addition by subtraction of certain university offices and study programs. I leave at that without identifying for y'all. You should tell us what you think they are. MAC football vote coming Friday: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29953444/sources-mac-presidents-vote-friday-fall-football-season The Hens should arrange some late Oct / Nov games including Towson and Nova. To what end? So Henderson or Knight or Reeder can go down for 6 months or a...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

Is it possible that a spring FCS football season and playoffs could relegate FCS to that situation as the norm? Do any of the articles address how FCS turns the season over and then prepares again for fall football?

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

That is priceless. A UD football fan saying he wouldn't pay a nickel to watch the slop the following teams / schools call football. Last I looked, there are quite a few non P5 schools playing football. Austin Peay, Stephen F. Austin, Ga Southern, Navy, Army, BYU, GA State, Marshall, App St., UAB, UT...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

Why can't UD schedule some games against Towson, Villanova, WC, DSU or even Rutgers for late Oct/Nov? Will you also be passing the hat around like a Delaware Semi Pro Baseball Game? Ooops there's no one to donate. Is it really that hard to figure out why other than the P5's why there is no push to ...

I don't think the opposing offenses liked Shawn Johnson very much.

Sooooo they will just practice all season long?
IMHO - should have played 4 games 😎
Is it too late? They can independently schedule some games, eh?

It would have been a perfect day for a football game here in Newark today.
And players are practicing, other teams and conferences are playing live games. What a shame.

Re: First tailgate thoughts

This would have been the date of the home opener, and first Delaware Stadium tailgate of 2020. The chill morning air reminded me of such things. Instead of coolers to pack and vehicles to load up, the itinerary includes weeds, lawn mowers and cleaning supplies. At least Navy, Notre Dame (USA Networ...

Re: UD Fall Practice and Spring Season 2021

Do we have any idea who from Delaware won't be playing in the spring? I imagine the NFL isn't going to change their draft date so anyone with a legit shot to be drafted likely wouldn't play in the spring. I don't know how you can decide to sit out and wait for the draft and keep your scholarship. I...

LSU coach: Majority of team has contracted virus. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29892180/lsu-coach-ed-orgeron-most-team-contracted-coronavirus Sounds like most have contracted the virus and gone through it.
