Re: So now what?

Gandhi spent the previous three years at Indiana University as assistant director of strategic initiatives (2024-25) and project management coordinator (2022-24). In his roles, he played an instrumental part in the oversight of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) to go along with coordination of postse...

Re: The Odds: Sam Houston State

I really hope we can get another year out of Bliss. Probably my love of baseball guys who can hit for avg like Boggs, Gwynn, Puckett who aren’t the “dunkers/home run hitters “ ….I compare them to great PG’s who can score but also have vision/dish and Bliss has been one of the best at UD. Might need ...

Re: The Odds: Kennesaw State

Kazanecki avg 5 ppg and 37% from 3 is pretty solid for a freshman.

As he gets stronger and can develop the ability to attack the rim, he could be a pretty good wing with his shooting.

Re: The Odds: Kennesaw State

UVA essentially dealt with the same issue last year regarding Bliss based off coaches comments etc https://augustafreepress.com/news/uva-basketball-staff-frustration-with-christian-bliss-bubbling-to-the-surface/#:~:text=You%2520may%2520remember%2520the%2520backstory,has%2520him%2520on%2520the%2520si...

Re: UD Coaching Extensions

One of the things in the past IMO that were important for extensions was recruiting . Coaches needed to show a recruit they would be around . That script has flipped with players now being able to leave and play right away elsewhere so it does not matter if a coach has 1 or 5 years left. I could be ...

Re: Houser

Was there any mention of surgery ? That could influence his availability next year . He showed major improvement this season . A key part of this teams plans . If it was a ACL tear, which it very well could be, he may miss half of next season. Who knows if he was even planning to return to UD but t...

Re: Houser

Still a chance to make the conf tourney; however, without Houser not sure it even matters. The way the team was playing, if they got in, could make some noise. A dam shame. Season can't end soon enough and the portal madness begins again.

Re: The Odds: Western Kentucky

Nothing wrong with identifying a player who made some errors or didn’t get the job done. Tough spot for him to be thrown in and he may end up needing to play a lot more down the road. Hopefully Kebe is not done for the year and we have a 3 headed rotation of H Emory, Taylor and Kebe to take Housers ...

Re: The Odds: Western Kentucky

Not blaming refs but the amount of fouls called over the last 2 mins of the game and during OT was crazy.

Delaware paying the piper now due to no bench. Who knows if the houser injury wasn’t due to fatigue. Dam shame as he was playing his best ball. We win that game if he doesn’t go down

Speaking of money, no idea if this is accurate but a solid read on CUSA and rev share. Shows estimates for CUSA schools with a $1m rev share budget for FB and roughly $330k for hoops Delaware is 2nd in CUSA with a $48m athletic budget, behind Liberty $60m and ahead of 3rd place MTSU $43m https://nil...
