Re: Live Construction Footage

UD projects a $168M budget deficit and has instituted new cost saving measures and a draw down on their endowment. Pausing all new construction/investment and just finishing up those projects that are at the finish line now. I'm sure similar things are happening everywhere, but holy toledo that $168...

Re: UD shifting plans for fall 2020

If one of my children was matriculating to UD this year, particularly from out of state, we'd be holding off at least a semester. If that isn't acceptable to the school, so be it, and we'd take our money elsewhere when life returns to normal. I have a great affinity for UD, and appreciate the friend...

Re: Might this be the time?

I've got to believe if there was anything resembling conference alignment adjustment discussions going on, and I highly doubt there were, they've been tabled for the forseeable future. Particularly for college athletic departments including UD, theyre in survival mode and probably looking to cut wei...

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

Good bit of M&A for Del State. Hear me out...Del State buys Wesley, then makes a move for Wilm U. Then they start a publicity campaign of disinformation claiming that UD is 'out of touch' and not for the people...images of Assanis swimming in his moneybin and whispering deviously with BOT members, p...

Does anyone have small children or grandchildren? Are they back in, or going back, to child care?

Re: When will College Football resume? Links and references.

I think you have the story right January. UA exercising some clause to terminate the deal because of ROI. Makes sense since UCLA can't be that valuable a partner for UA. They've sucked for a while at both football and basektball. I wonder if Lavar Ball and his Big Baller Brand could finally get thei...

Re: NJ Article on Spending

The athletic department received just $710,000 from donor contributions in 2017-18, below the FCS median, according to the Knight Commission. With the exception of several Historically Black Colleges and Universities, most FCS schools had a larger percentage of their revenue from those sources than...

Re: I'm pizzed off and want to complain and whine

Hi there, it felt like a good time to bump this thread since I'm definitely feeling like a petulant little you-know-what at the moment. I'm presently watching two teams that look light years better than us play for a National Championship, as I scroll through social media photos from our own footbal...

Re: @ Maine - 9/12/20

I'm calling it now. JMU doesn't lose another conference game ever again. Look out for incoming transfer QB Neb Niducci to take the reigns seamlessly for them next year. 2020 is over. Stop your contributions and wait for white smoke from the stovepipe of the WAC next November. Pull out your Little Or...

Is Jim Hofher networking at any football conventions this winter? We really need some fresh blood in this offense.

Re: board of trustees

You may have a point after the royal screwup on the Willard basketball hire. That set the program behind for ten years. The "royal screwup" was not on UD's part. One should never be less than honest while on a job interview. Not to mention him getting suspended by Seton Hall at the beginning of this...

Re: Why Is JMU in a different league?

The only thing that is remotely important to this thread is that coach Rocco and his staff were hired at UD three years ago to compete for CAA and National Championships. Anything short of that isn't acceptable. Period Since we are not even close to that objective. One can only assume the current s...

Re: App State to Cotton Bowl...

Crazy how Mizzou is hiring Appy's 36 year old, first year coach. Good for this dude, but holy moly Mizzou is reaching deep for their next coach.
