Re: Schedule Updates
Couldn't be more delighted to get that PA team off our schedule. My distaste for that program and their fanbase cannot be measured. Clearly nothing and no one are more important than the sanctity of their football program. They've proven that in spades. Bring on the Illini. I also like the switch m...

Re: New MBB coach
UD Basketball power rating from the latest ESPN poll is now 305 out of 365. Do we blame that on lack of NIL money, injured players? It's got to be more than that especially when one of your losses was to Del State the number 357 program and 304 are doing better under the current rules.

Re: JMU
I would be shocked if JMU brought a lot of fans out to Oregon. I remember when UCONN played OKU in the Fiesta Bowl back in 2011. If memory serves me correctly, the Huskies had to return a number of tickets allocated to them. But congratulations to JMU! They have made the most out of their opportunit...

Re: CUSA Football general news, info, Etc....
Not CUSA talk but relevant JMU news as Bob Chesney going to UCLA. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/ucla-hires-bob-chesney-head-coach-james-madison/ Sign of the times. No one is exempt or safe from player and coach movement. The Hens will see wholesale changes going into next year. Su...

Re: Rate the Season
If we finish 6-6 for the year you have to consider it a success being the first year in FBS. My concern is I just haven't seen much progress if any from the beginning of the season to the end and this has been a regular occurrence for several years now. On the flip side I'm impressed how successful ...

Re: Game Thread: Wake Forest
Just wondering if anyone thinks the 2025 team is better than last year? I recall that the losses to Richmond and VU last season were somewhat attributed to having a few "impact "players sit out games in order to save a year of eligibility for the transition to FBS. Also, checking the sched...

Re: SHSU GAME THREAD
Speaking of 0-10 UMass, if this is the year they drop football and an opening exists in the MAC, would or could we jump? I have no interest in the MAC. Pretty much are done after October as they go full bore mid week football for the rest of November. I say we wait until the ACC blows up in a coupl...

Re: SHSU GAME THREAD
Not calling for Rojas' head on a pike. Why not? They could sell naming rights for the pike. I bet Clucker would be high bidder, but plenty of folks would bid the price up. If UD had a competent administration, which they don't, Carty's seat would be starting to get warm. I've been a big believer in...

Re: MBB Off Season
Bill and Pat, please have this discussion privately. Don't think anyone else gives a darn. It is some what on topic, my support of UD sports is apparently something people on this board do care about. Go back and read the entire thread. Also the UD Men's basketball coach also cares about my support...

Re: KC Keeler - Temple
Transforming PM North Broad Street into a Mecca for recruits would be, IMO, equivalent to Moses parting the Red Sea. But if anyone can do it look no further than the stable genius of a football coach aka Kurt Charles Keeler. If you don't believe me, just ask him. He'll probably also show you his ch...

Re: KC Keeler - Temple
Can KC turn Philly into a college FB town? That is where the devil is in the details. I doubt if he will be taking any potential recruits on a walk up North Broad after dark. Transforming PM North Broad Street into a Mecca for recruits would be, IMO, equivalent to Moses parting the Red Sea. But if ...

Re: Athletic Director
This. I'll wait for the real facts to play out (probably not publicly) instead of making up my own. I agree. I do find this interesting that USA Swimming said this in their statement: "In the past few days, USA Swimming was made aware, for the first time, of the existence of a report that was ...

Re: Athletic Director
Well now this changes everything. Simply put, if the allegations are true, she lied about her situation changing due to the death of her mother-in-law. I know lying may be fashionable now but hopefully not for the UD admin!!
